Digital Field Investigation App for Child Harm Cases
Developed a mobile application to address the critical need for better evidence collection in child abuse investigations—specifically burn, neglect, and aquatic trauma cases. The app offers step-by-step guidance, secure data sharing, and report tracking for first responders, healthcare providers, and law enforcement. Built with cloud-based encryption, role-based access control, and interoperability with EHRs and child welfare systems, it ensures timely and accurate documentation in high-stress, time-sensitive situations.
1. Problem Statement (Why it Matters)
Field investigators and first responders often lack the tools and training needed for timely, accurate evidence collection in child abuse cases. Delays or poor documentation can impact the outcome of the investigation.
2. The Solution (What We Built)
We developed a mobile application to guide and standardize the documentation process in high-stress environments. The app enables secure evidence collection, cross-agency coordination, and seamless report tracking, all in real time.
